I use this file server made from Ubuntu all the time.  It’s accessible with any Mac you have on the network. Right when you connect to the wireless or wired network, it automatically mounts in the finder (photo above).  It’s a cool Geek Power Move.  View the video below to see it in action, then follow the instructions at kremalicious to get it going.
